Katherine Heigl was at ShoWest on Thursday to accept the Female Star of the Year Award when her dress came undone, nearly exposing her left breast.
Fortunately for her but not for men everywhere, host Billy Bush was there, and he stood behind her to hold up the broken strap so she could finish her speech and protect her modesty.
According to reports, Katherine accepted the award for “Female Star of the Year” at this year’s ShoWest awards show in Las Vegas. The ceremony’s host, Billy Bush, assisted Heigl in holding her strap to hold everything in place, as she embarrassingly accepted her award.
Bush tweeted via his Twitter page about the unfortunate highlight of the night, “Oh my. Hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks…I hold her top on while she accepts.” You handled her with care! I’m sure she feels very lucky to have had you by her side!
Not only did Heigl look absolutely beautiful last night, but brunette? She says that she wanted to show her commitment to Stephanie and her fans for her “starring role in a movie adaptation of novelist Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series about a young female bounty hunter”. Of the immediate change the starlet says, “I’ve been dying to do it anyway,” adding, “I love it. It’s a nice change. I’ve just been so ‘the blonde’ for so long that it’s nice to shake things up.” I think it looks great!
