Muscles developed throughout her body also help her movements look well balanced, whereas overdevelopment of muscles in certain parts of the body such as upper arms or thighs can make movements look stiff.
Fashion stylist Han Hye-yeon said, “Unlike many other athletes, Kim has a slender, flexible body, so she has the natural ‘S’ curve when she’s performing.” Kim So-yeon, an executive at a modeling agency, said, “She has perfect body proportions for a fashion model.”

If we have closer look on Kim her legs and arms appear to be slightly different as compared to other female athletes of her proportions; she’s got relevantly longer arms and legs thus making her physique all the more different and flexible.

Kim is a beautiful girl who deserved that medal, and it’s highly unlikely she had plastic surgery on her body. It seems to me that my father’s people (Japanese) are at it again with the rumor mill and ill treatment of other Asians. It’s really a shame, too, because we’re no different from any other type of Asian, yet our “imperial” history makes us think otherwise. She wasn’t treated well by her fellow skaters from Japan, and in the end, their ill attitude got them what they deserved -second place. Congratulations, Kim, on a job well done!

I doubt that she had the time to get plastic surgery. SHe’s been training nonstop for all these years and to get extensive plastic surgery on the body would have afffected her skating career.

Japanese at it again, making it look like their jealous attacks on Kim are coming from China. Dont let the japanese be all polite to your face, while plotting behind your back. That is typical of them, and they just cant stand that Kim blew away Mao for the Gold. Mao nearly fell on her butt, and still got Silver. Be happy with 2nd place.

It is a sweet victory that Kim won gold and Mao Asada silver; the rivalry between the two countries is immeasurable and Koreans will always harbour innate bitterness (no matter how small) to the Japanese for occupying their country in the past. I am a Korean Canadian and I would have to say that the rivalry is far greater than Canada vs. USA.
